• Minimum education required is Graduation. Preference will be given to Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any other equivalent related degree from a university recognized by the HEC of Pakistan or in case of a relevant foreign qualification, holds an equivalency certificate from HEC of Pakistan.

• Minimum 15 to 20 years of working overall experience, with at least 03 years of experience in Digital Banking and Digital Transformation at a leadership role. Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in the financial industry.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the Bank’s long-term vision, focusing on customer-centric solutions and operational efficiency.

• Continuously assess the evolving digital landscape, identifying emerging technologies, digital trends, and innovations in the banking sector that can enhance the Bank’s competitive edge.

• Lead the development and enhancement of digital banking services, including mobile and online banking platforms, open APIs, digital wallets, and payment solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences.

• Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior management, providing facilitation on organizational development, workforce optimization, and change management.

10 years of overall experience in retail banking or branch banking business including 02 years’ experience in a supervisory role / Area Manager / Cluster Manager. Preference will be given to candidates serving as Area Manager or at a similar role. Islamic banking experience will be an added advantage

03 years of Retail Sales (Liabilities/ Consumer) experience in a Commercial Bank. Preference will be given to candidates having Branch Manager experience in Islamic Banking.

08 years of overall banking experience with at least 02 years in Shariah Compliance or Operational Risk Management. Preference will be given to candidates having Islamic Banking experience.

05 years of overall banking experience with at least 03 years in Operational Risk/ Internal Audit / Banking Operations / Compliance. Preference will be given to candidates having Islamic Banking experience

03 years of Corporate Credits experience in a Bank / F.I. Preference will be given to candidates having Islamic Banking Experience.

02 years of experience in project management, banking system implementation in any reputable organization.

In addition, Membership of Professional Accounting Body / CFA / FRM or certification relevant to Risk Management will be an added qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in the field of Credit and Risk Management in financial industry with at least 05 years of Risk Management experience at senior level. Candidates who are currently heading the overall Risk Management function in a Bank are exempted from the above mentioned senior level experience criteria.
• Should meet criteria as set out in “Fit and Proper Test” of State Bank of Pakistan.

• To supervise the totality of the Risk Functions in the Bank including Credit as well as all other enterprise wide risks such as market and liquidity risk, operational risk and other legal, financial and reputational risks.
• To develop, facilitate and introduce systems and procedures for risk identification, risk analysis, risk measurement and risk management.
• To formulate and review credit and risk policies and procedures and communicate the same with the approval of BOD where required.

• To establish mechanisms for ensuring that all banking activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• To serve as Bank’s representative to the regulators with respect to Bank’s compliance.
• Ensure that AML/ KYC/ CDD/ EDD/ CFT and all Credit, Business and Operations policies and strong internal control systems are in place.
• To develop strategy and set direction for compliance function by formulating policies & guidelines that assist the Bank in effective management of Compliance Risk.
• Development and implementation of adequate Compliance Risk mitigation tools such as Compliance Risk Framework and periodically reviewing the adequacy of the risk mitigation programs/ measures undertaken by the Bank.
• To serve as a Chairman / Member of different committees of the Bank.
