Salman A. Usmani has over 36 years of extensive experience in both multinational and local banking sectors. His expertise spans across treasury and balance sheet management, investment banking, strategic planning, corporate restructuring, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and the conversion of balance sheets from conventional to Islamic banking.
Before joining the Bank of Khyber, he served as Head of Treasury & Equity Capital Markets at Faysal Bank Limited and was the Chairman of the Board for Faysal Asset Management. He also held the position of Global Treasurer and Head of Investment Banking at MCB Bank Limited. Over his career, he has worked with prominent organizations, including ANZ Grindlays, American Express, Bank of America, Mashreq Bank, and United Bank Limited.
Throughout his distinguished career, He has participated in numerous training and certification programs, including Islamic Banking & Finance from the National Institute of Banking & Finance, Certified Director from ICAP, ALCO & MRM by Euromoney, and Managing Change from INSEAD
